Haggen posts $4.27 million operating loss for Feb. 26 through March 24

New York, April 22 – Haggen Holdings LLC reported a $4,273,000 loss from operations on $46,807,000 net sales for the period between Feb. 26 and March 24, according to its monthly operating report filed April 22 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company posted a $3.78 million operating loss from Jan. 29 through Feb. 25 on $50.61 million in net sales.

The net loss for the latest period was $16,888,000, up from a $3.13 million net loss for the previous period.

Additionally, Haggen had $31,127,000 in cash and cash equivalents as of March 24, up from $25.76 million on Feb. 25.

Based in Bellingham, Wash., Haggen is a supermarket company. It filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 8, 2015 under Chapter 11 case number 15-11874.
