Morris Polich adds bankruptcy attorneys Candace and Matthew Carlyon

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 2 – Morris Polich & Purdy LLP announced that business bankruptcy attorneys Candace Carlyon and Matthew Carlyon have joined the firm’s Las Vegas office, according to a press release.

Candace Carlyon currently serves as a part-time judge pro tempore for the Clark County Eighth Judicial District Court’s short trial program. Previously, she served as a Nevada Supreme Court settlement judge and as a mediator with the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program. Her practice consists primarily of representation of lenders and creditors in litigation, transactional and bankruptcy matters.

Matthew Carlyon’s legal experience includes lender representation in state and bankruptcy courts, representation of debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, personal injury and commercial litigation.

“We are very excited to welcome Candace and Matthew to our firm,” managing partner Don Ridge said in a news release.

“Their expertise brings tremendous value to the firm and we are extremely fortunate that they have joined us.”
