SVPGlobal hires David Peck, Paul Marchand to portfolio operations team

Detroit, Oct. 29 – Strategic Value Partners, LLC announced the hiring of David Peck as head of its North American portfolio operations team and Paul Marchand as senior operating partner in its Europe investment team, according to a press release Thursday.

Peck most recently was managing director of portfolio operations and a senior member of a 16-person operations group at private equity firm KPS Capital Partners, LP.

Before being hired by SVP earlier this year as a senior operating partner, Marchand spent 11 years as a senior professional in the portfolio and operations group of Bain Capital Private Equity.

Both have been hired as managing directors and will sit on SVP’s 16-person management council.

SVPGlobal is a global investment firm focused on distressed debt and private equity opportunities with $9.8 billion in assets under management.
