New Issue: Sumter, S.C., prices $52.71 million of waterworks, sewer bonds

New York, Aug. 18 – The City of Sumter, S.C., sold $52.71 million of series 2015 waterworks and sewer system improvement and refunding revenue bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa3/AA-) were sold through senior manager Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

The bonds are due 2016 to 2040 with 2% to 5% coupons.

Proceed will be used to maintain, improve, replace and upgrade water and sewer system lines; replace and maintain meters; make a Supervisory Control and Data System upgrade at a cost of $400,000; and refund the city's series 2007 waterworks and sewer system bonds.
