Moody’s gives Hewlett Packard notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.

Proceeds are expected to refinance near term maturities.

The outlook is stable.

"HPE's Baa2 rating reflects the company's good market positions throughout a range of enterprise IT products offset by strong competitive pressures throughout its broad portfolio, that will limit revenue growth and result in adjusted operating margins in the high single to low double-digit range," Richard Lane, Moody's senior vice president, said in a news release.
