Fitch rates Hewlett Packard notes BBB+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a BBB+ rating to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.’s senior notes offering.

Hewlett Packard will issue $1.1 billion of 2.1% senior notes due 2019 and will use net proceeds to fund the repayment of debt maturing on Oct. 5, 2017, including $750 million of 2.45% senior notes and $350 million of floating-rate notes.

The outlook is stable.

Total rated debt is $18 billion, including the undrawn $4 billion revolving credit facility and pro forma for the separation of the $2.6 billion term loan in connection with the Sept. 1, 2017 separation of the software business.
