Moody’s: Hewlett-Packard notes at Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to the proposed senior unsecured notes of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said the Baa2 senior unsecured issuer rating is supported by the company’s good market positions, diversity, scale and breadth of product offerings in servers, storage and networking.

The company maintains strong to leading market positions in several end markets and, notwithstanding significant competitive challenges in a shifting IT landscape, Moody's said it expects that the company will remain well positioned.
