S&P gives BBB to Hewlett Packard notes
S&P said it assigned its BBB issue-level rating to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.'s proposed senior unsecured notes.
The firm intends to use the proceeds to refinance upcoming debt maturities and for general corporate purposes.
The BBB issuer credit rating and stable outlook on the company are unchanged.
S&P noted that Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s first-quarter fiscal 2023 results were “better than we expected.”
