S&P assigns Hewlett Packard Enterprise notes BBB

S&P said it assigned its BBB rating to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.’s senior unsecured notes.

The company will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including to repay its unsecured notes due in October.

“We rate the new notes the same as our long-term issuer credit rating. All of our other ratings on HPE are unchanged,” said S&P in a press release.
