Argentina’s BBVA Banco Frances may issue up to ARS 500 million notes

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 27 – BBVA Banco Frances SA received board approval to issue up to ARS 500 million of notes in one or more series, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes would be issued under the company’s $750 million global note program.

The bank is based in Buenos Aires.
