New Issue: China’s CGN Power sells RMB 2 billion 4.7%, 4.69% three-year notes

Morgantown, W.Va., April 25 – CGN Power Co., Ltd. announced it issued RMB 2 billion of three-year notes on Monday and Tuesday. The notes were issued in two tranches of RMB 1 billion each.

The first tranche carries a coupon of 4.7%, and the second tranche bears interest at 4.69%.

Bank of China Ltd. acted as bookrunner for the first tranche, while Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd. acted as bookrunner for the second tranche.

Proceeds from both tranches will be used to repay existing borrowings and to optimize the company’s financial structure.

The nuclear power producer is based in Shenzhen, China.
