Prospect News reports three new defaults for week of July 9 to July 15

Pittsburgh, July 17 – Prospect News reported three new defaults for the period of July 9 through July 15.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by Milagro Oil & Gas, Inc., Coco Beach Golf & Country Club, SE and Signal International, Inc.

In addition, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by Walter Energy, Inc. and Sabine Oil & Gas Corp. However, Walter previously defaulted in connection with a June 15 missed interest payment and an April 15 missed interest payment, paid within the grace period, and Sabine previously defaulted in connection with June 15 and April 21 missed interest payments.

Prospect News has reported 100 defaults so far in 2015, including 47 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 13 missed interest payments, 10 Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings, seven distressed exchanges, six Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, three bankruptcy filings, two each of reorganizations and missed principal payments and one each of Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings, arrangements of debt, judicial recovery requests, missed interest payments paid within the grace period, missed principal and interest payments, missed payments, defaults, insolvencies, schemes of arrangement and moratoriums.
