Moody’s cuts Global Aircraft notes

Moody's Investors Service said it downgraded to B2 from B1 the long-term rating on senior unsecured notes issued by Global Aircraft Leasing Co., Ltd., the entity that holds Bohai Leasing Co., Ltd.'s 70% shareholder interest in commercial aircraft leasing company Avolon Holdings Ltd. (Baa3 stable).

Global Aircraft’s outlook remains negative.

Moody's said it downgraded the rating of Global Aircraft’s senior notes to reflect increasing refinancing risk as the notes' September 2024 maturity draws nearer amid rising macro and funding market challenges.
