SunTrust names McNeill to lead Mid-Atlantic corporate banking team

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 1 – SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. has named Jeff McNeill as head of Mid-Atlantic corporate banking, according to a press release.

McNeill was previously head of financial risk management for SunTrust and will now report to David Penter, head of regional corporate banking. McNeill is based in Charlotte, N.C.

“Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in a number of capital markets originations positions with both individual coverage and leadership responsibilities,” Penter said in the release. “He is a natural fit for this role and will continue to build on SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s success in the Mid-Atlantic region, while advancing our strategy of serving clients across our wholesale bank.”

The press release also announced Jason Cagle has been named as head of sales for SunTrust Banks, Inc.’s treasury and payment solutions division.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey is the Atlanta-based corporate and investment banking arm of SunTrust Banks, Inc., providing capital raising, strategic advisory, risk management and investment services to clients.
