El Paso Children’s Hospital sees $1.7 million operating loss for July

Bethlehem, Pa., Aug. 28 – El Paso Children’s Hospital Corp. reported an operating loss of $1.7 million on total revenue of $6.24 million for July, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.

For June, the company reported an operating loss of $2.1 million on total revenue of $5.28 million.

The company also posted a net loss of $1.76 million and cash holdings of $11.42 million as of July 31.

Based in El Paso, Texas, El Paso Children’s Hospital provides pediatric patient care, research and education services. The hospital filed for bankruptcy on May 19 under the Chapter 11 case number 15-30784.
