By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, July 9 – El Paso Children’s Hospital Corp. received further access to cash collateral under a third interim order filed July 9 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.

The final hearing is scheduled for July 30.

Under Thursday’s order, the cash collateral will be used under an interim budget that expires on the earlier of July 30 and the occurrence of a specified termination event.

As previously reported, the cash collateral is being used to fund the hospital’s assets while in bankruptcy.

Based in El Paso, Texas, El Paso Children’s Hospital provides pediatric patient care, research and education services. The hospital filed for bankruptcy on May 19 under Chapter 11 case number 15-30784.
