El Paso Children’s Hospital gets second interim court OK to use cash

Pittsburgh, June 8 – El Paso Children’s Hospital Corp. received further access to cash collateral under a second interim order filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.
The final hearing is scheduled for July 14.
Under Monday’s order, the cash collateral will be used under an interim budget that expires on the earlier of July 14 or the occurrence of a specified termination event.
As previously reported, the cash collateral is being used to fund the hospital’s assets while in bankruptcy.
Based in El Paso, Texas, El Paso Children’s Hospital provides pediatric patient care, research and education services. The hospital filed for bankruptcy on May 19 under the Chapter 11 case number 15-30784.
