Moody's lifts Shanghai International Port to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd.'s A1 issuer rating to stable from negative.

The agency also said it affirmed the company's A1 issuer rating.

The ratings reflect the company's strong standalone credit fundamentals as reflected in its baseline credit assessment of A2, Moody's said.

The ratings also consider a one notch uplift, reflecting an expectation that the company will receive support from the city of Shanghai in times of need, the agency said.

The company is the dominant operator of China's largest container port with high national and global visibility, Moody's said.
