Hamp advises on Hong Kong and cross-border financing transactions, representing banks, corporations and private equity firms on leveraged financing, corporate loans, and restructurings and workouts.

Beckingham advises private equity and other financial investor clients in public and private mergers and acquisitions and in structuring joint ventures.

James Burnett relocated to Hong Kong from Latham & Watkins’ London office. He represents investment banks, private equity firms and companies in public and private debt offerings and acquisition financing, with a focus on issuances of high yield debt securities and leveraged transactions.

Josef Athanas has relocated to Hong Kong from Chicago. He has represented private and public companies in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, reorganizations and distressed mergers and acquisitions. He also has advised secured and unsecured lenders in workouts and restructurings.

Latham & Watkins is a law firm with offices in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
