Latham hires Alexandra Bigot for restructuring practice in Paris

New York, June 23 – Latham & Watkins LLP said Alexandra Bigot has joined the firm’s Paris office in its restructuring and special situations practice.

Bigot joins Latham from Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s Paris office and has an extensive track record advising investors, shareholders and distressed companies on a variety of complex financial restructurings and insolvency proceedings, according to a press release.

She regularly advises on out-of-court and multi-jurisdictional restructuring matters for debtors, sponsors and hedge funds, with expertise in distressed leveraged buyouts and the sale of underperforming or distressed assets of multinationals. She also advises corporate investors, hedge funds, and recovery funds seeking investment opportunities in insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructuring cases, with particular expertise in handling distressed matters.
