Windstream bankruptcy credit event occurs on notes issued by Nomura

Pittsburgh, June 24 – A bankruptcy credit event has occurred on notes due Dec. 31, 2021 issued by Nomura International Funding Pte. Ltd. in connection with Windstream Holdings Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, according to a notice issued Monday by Citibank Europe plc.

The notice said Windstream Services LLC is a reference entity under the notes.

The credit event determination date is Feb. 25.

Windstream is a Little Rock, Ark., telecommunications provider. The company filed bankruptcy on Feb. 25 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under Chapter 11 case number 19-22312.
