S&P lifts ACI Airport notes

S&P said it raised its issue-level rating on ACI Airport Sudamerica SA's notes to BBB from BB+.

The outlook remains stable.

The agency said the upgrade reflects an expectation of stronger financial performance going forward, driven by resilient international passenger growth at least two times greater than gross domestic product growth in the short term.

“We consider that the addition of new routes and frequencies, a stable exchange rate, and relatively low oil prices will result in affordable ticket prices for passengers, which in turn should sustain demand,” the agency said in a news release.
