Lincoln Electric places $350 million; Farmland sells 10-year bond; Synthos announces issue

Charlotte, N.C., April 1 – Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. will issue four tranches of senior notes totaling $350 million in a private placement.

The company will issue $100 million of 3.15% series A notes due 2025 and $100 million of 3.35% series B notes due 2030 on Aug. 20.

Lincoln will issue $50 million of 3.61% series C notes due 2035 and $100 million of 4.02% series D notes due 2045 on April 1.

Lincoln Electric is a Cleveland-based manufacturer of welding products.

Farmland Partners Inc. issued a $14.9 million 10-year interest-only bond with a fixed interest rate of 3.69% as part of its previously announced $150 million secured note purchase facility with the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corp.

The bond will extend the company’s debt maturity and provide capital for acquisitions, a news release said.

Denver-based Farmland Partners is a real estate investment trust that owns and acquires row crop farmland.

York Traditions Bank issued $5 million of 6.25% 10-year subordinated notes on Friday to institutional investors, according to a news release.

Proceeds were used by the York, Pa.-based bank to repay $5.12 million of preferred stock on Tuesday.

Ambassador Financial Group, Inc. was the placement agent.

Synthos SA subsidiary Synthos Finance AB will issue €50 million of additional 4% senior notes (Ba2/BB/) due Sept. 30, 2021.

The notes will be an add-on to the €350 million of notes issued in September, according to a news release.

Synthos produces synthetic rubber and styrenics. It is based in Oswiecim, Poland.
