Company sells 3.5 million common shares at $10.00 apiece in offering

Knoxville, Tenn., March 12 – Levy Acquisition Corp. arranged a $35 million private placement of stock with three investors on March 12, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company will sell 3.5 million common shares at $10.00 per share. The price per share is a 0.5% premium to the March 11 closing share price of $9.95.
The deal is being conducted alongside the company’s planned merger with Del Taco Holdings, Inc.
The blank-check company is based in Chicago.
