Chicago, Feb. 13 – Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, SAB de CV said it completed the issuance of Ps. 3 billion long-term bond certificates (A3) in Mexico.
The company sold 30 million certificados bursatiles at Ps. 100 each, according to a press release.
The five-year certificates bear interest at a variable rate of TIIE-28 plus 17 basis points.
The issuer said the offering was more than five times oversubscribed.
Proceeds will be used to repay the Ps. 2.2 billion GAP15 bond certificates issued on Feb. 20, 2015 that mature on Feb. 14. The other Ps. 800 million will be used to initiate the investments set forth in the company’s master development plan for 2020.
Including the latest issuance, the company has issued a total of Ps. 15 billion long-term bond certificates on the Mexican capital markets. The bond certificates conclude the company’s five-year program authorized by the Mexican Banking and Securities Commission.
Based in Guadalajara, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico operates 12 airports throughout Mexico’s Pacific region, including Guadalajara and Tijuana.
