Barclays Bank to price 10-year subordinated notes Thursday

Virginia Beach, Sept. 4 – Barclays plc is in the market Thursday with a benchmark offering of subordinated notes due 2024, according to a market source and a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are talked in the low-200 bps area over Treasuries.

Barclays is the bookrunner.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The financial services company is based in London.
