Fitch gives Sunrise Communications Group BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a long-term issuer default rating to Sunrise Communications Group AG of BBB-.

“Sunrise’s ratings reflect its solid operating profile, strengthened leverage relative to its peer group and consistent cash flow performance. The ratings take into account a sustained and high level of competitive intensity with market competition, which includes an unusually strong incumbent operator in Swisscom as well as a price-led disruptive challenger in Salt Mobile,” Fitch said in a press release.

Fitch said it withdrew Sunrise Communications Holdings SA’s IDR.
