S&P puts Western Asset on watch

S&P said it placed its AAA rating on Western Asset Municipal Partners Fund Inc.'s series M shares on CreditWatch with negative implications.

The fund’s assets insufficient to support the AAA rating, the agency said.

S&P said it aims to resolve the CreditWatch within the next 90 days.
