Fitch rates Barclays Capital A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Barclays Capital Inc. a long-term issuer default rating of A+.

“BCI’s ratings reflect our view that there is an extremely high likelihood that it will be supported its parent Barclays Bank plc,” Fitch said in a press release.

The agency placed the issuer default rating on ratings watch negative as is the Barclay’s Bank’s IDR. The negative ratings reflect the uncertainty over Brexit.
