Verso general unsecured creditors slated to share $3 million via plan

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, April 15 – Verso Corp. detailed the proposed distribution for holders of general unsecured claims against its “asset debtors” in a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the creditors will receive a share of $3 million in cash.

When the company filed for bankruptcy, treatment of these claims was yet to be determined.

Verso, a Memphis-based producer of printing and specialty papers and pulp, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 26. The Chapter 11 case number is 16-10163.
