Moody's rates Barclays Capital CB Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa2 long-term and Prime-3 short-term global local-currency issuer ratings to Barclays Capital Casa de Bolsa SA de CV and Aa1.mx long-term and MX-1 short-term Mexican national scale issuer ratings.

The outlook is negative on the global ratings and stable on the national scale ratings.

The agency said Barclays Capital CB's ratings are aligned to those of its sister company, Barclays Bank México, SA de CV, to reflect the full integration between them and their ultimate parent, Barclays Bank plc. The Mexican subsidiaries share the same infrastructure, staff, risk management practices and customer base.
