Barclays Capital names Mouli head of Latin America rates trading

Washington, Aug. 1 - Barclays Capital hired Pravin Mouli as managing director and head of Latin America rates trading.

Mouli, who will be based in New York, joins Barclays from Bear Stearns, where he was a senior managing director and head of Latin America fixed income trading. Prior to that, he spent five years at Morgan Stanley, several years at Dresdner and ABN, and eight years at Credit Suisse. He has experience with a wide range of emerging markets products including FX, credit, interest rates and structured derivatives.

Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank plc, provides finance and risk management services to large corporate, government and institutional clients.
