New Issue: Barclays prices $765,000 buffered lock-in notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Los Angeles, Jan. 27 – Barclays Bank plc priced $765,000 of 0% buffered lock-in notes due Jan. 27, 2025 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The lock-in return is the highest index return for any of the five annual observation dates. The index return for any annual observation date is measured from the initial index value to the closing value of the index on the applicable observation date.

If the lock-in return is zero or positive and the index finishes at or above 90% of the initial value, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.055 times the lock-in return.

If the lock-in return is zero or positive but the index finishes below 90% of the initial value, the payout will be par plus (i) 1.055 times the lock-in return less (ii) the index decline in excess of the 10% buffer.

If the lock-in return is negative but the index finishes below its initial value by no more than 10%, the payout will be par.

If the lock-in return is negative and the index finishes below its initial value by more than 10%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
