Barclays plans principal-protected notes linked to S&P, Russell, EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 23 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% notes due Jan. 2, 2025 linked to a basket consisting of the S&P 500 index with a 50% weight, the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund with a 30% weight and the Russell 2000 index with a 20% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the basket return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the lesser of the basket return and 32%. If the basket return is less than or equal to zero, the payout will be par.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price Dec. 27.

The Cusip number is 06747NWE0.
