New Issue: Barclays sells $2.89 million capped buffer gears on Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., May 31 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.89 million of 0% capped buffer gears due May 28, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the return, up to a maximum gain of 19.5%.
If the index falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.
Barclays and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.
