Barclays to price capped buffered notes due 2020 linked to EM ETF

Olympia, Wash., April 9 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% capped buffered notes due April 29, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the ETF, with the payout capped at par plus 16.1%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.11111% for every 1% decline in the ETF beyond the 10% buffer.

Barclays is the underwriter with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA as placement agents.

The notes will price on April 12.

The Cusip number is 06747MP34.
