Barclays plans PLUS due 2020 with 3x leverage, cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, Oct. 26 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Feb. 5, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $11.40 per PLUS.

Investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.

Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as the dealer.

The notes will price on Oct. 31 and settle on Nov. 5.

The Cusip number is 06746U125.
