New Issue: Barclays prices $3 million capped buffered notes on S&P 500 index

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 17 – Barclays Bank plc priced $3 million of 0% capped buffered notes due Oct. 14, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the index, with payout capped at par plus 23%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline in the index beyond the 20% buffer.
Barclays is the underwriter with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA as placement agents.
