Barclays plans callable range accrual notes linked to Russell 2000

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 9 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price callable range accrual notes due April 30, 2026 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest will accrue at an annualized rate of 6% for each day that the index closes at or above the 80% coupon barrier level. Interest is payable monthly.
The notes will be callable at par on any monthly interest payment date after one year.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index falls by more than 20%, in which case investors will be exposed to any losses beyond 20%.
Barclays is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Oct. 26 and settle on Oct. 31.
The Cusip number is 06746XT29.
