New Issue: Barclays prices $3 million capped buffered notes on MSCI EAFE index

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 21 – Barclays Bank plc priced $3 million of 0% capped buffered notes due Feb. 20, 2020 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the index, with payout capped at par plus 19%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline in the index beyond the 15% buffer.
Barclays is the underwriter with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA as placement agents.
