Barclays plans buffered PLUS due 2020 linked to Euro Stoxx 50 index

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 13 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Sept. 3, 2020 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus double any index gain, up to a maximum payment of at least $13.50 per PLUS.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.

Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as the dealer.

The notes will price on Aug. 31 and settle on Sept. 6.

The Cusip number is 06746U307.
