Barclays plans buffered SuperTrack notes due 2021 tied to MSCI ETFs

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 3 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Aug. 31, 2021 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF and the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the return of the lesser-performing fund is above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 to 1.3 times the return of the lesser-performing fund.

Investors will receive par if the lesser-performing fund falls by up to 25% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 28 and settle on Aug. 31.

The Cusip number is 06746XL43.
