Barclays to price buffered digital notes due 2022 linked to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., July 30 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Feb. 28, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 85% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital percentage of 21% to 22%. The exact digital percentage will be set at pricing.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 15% buffer.
Barclays is the agent.
The notes will price on Aug. 28 and settle on Aug. 31.
The Cusip number is 06746XKP7.
