Barclays plans three-year buffered SuperTrack notes tied to S&P 500

Chicago, July 5 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due July 30, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain.
If the index falls by up to 15%, the payout will be par plus the return plus 25%.
If the index falls by up to 25%, the payout will be par.
If the index falls by more than 25%, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 25% buffer.
Barclays is the agent.
The notes will price on July 26.
The Cusip number is 06746XGU1.
