Barclays plans buffered PLUS due 2021 with cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, June 15 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Jan. 5, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus double any index gain, up to a maximum payment of $12.165 per PLUS.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.

Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as the dealer.

The notes will price on June 29 and settle on July 5.

The Cusip number is 06746T730.
