Barclays plans buffered digital notes due 2021 tied to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., May 31 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Dec. 29, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above its 85% barrier level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 19% to 21%.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will settle on June 29.

The Cusip number is 06746XDG5.
