New Issue: Barclays sells $10.79 million contingent income autocallables on three indexes

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, May 22 – Barclays Bank plc priced $10.79 million of contingent income autocallable securities due May 23, 2023 linked to the least performing of the Nikkei 225 index, Russell 2000 index and Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes will pay a contingent payment at an annual rate of 9.85% if each index closes at or above its 75% coupon barrier level on the observation date for that quarter.

After six months, the notes will be automatically called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly determination date other than the final date.

If each index finishes at or above its 65% downside threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final contingent coupon, if any.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the worst performing index from its initial level.

Barclays is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as dealer.
