Barclays to price capped airbag gears linked to basket of three ETFs

Morgantown, W.Va., March 26 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% capped airbag gears due March 31, 2021 linked to a basket of three exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust with a 65% weight, the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 25% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with a 10% weight.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the basket return, capped at 29% to 31%. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for each 1% basket decline beyond 20%.

Barclays and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on March 27.
