Barclays to sell 0% Leveraged Index Return notes linked to Dow Jones

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 2 – Barclays Bank plc will price 0% Leveraged Index Return Notes due January 2023 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 102% to 122% of the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.
Merrill Lynch & Co. is the agent.
The notes will price in January and settle in February.
