New Issue: Barclays prices $6.1 million buffered SuperTrack notes on S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 26 – Barclays Bank plc priced $6.1 million of 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Dec. 24, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any gain in the index, with the return capped at 20%.

If the index falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.

Barclays is the agent.
